Michelle Stevenson Named MD in Burson's Consumer Practice

LOS ANGELES—Burson-Marsteller has appointed Michelle Stevenson as a managing director in its US consumer and brand marketing practice. She will focus on building brands with an integrated marketing mix that includes sponsorships, special events, integrations, celebrity spokespeople and media relations and will lead the agency's work for Saban Brands US, The San Diego Zoo and Konami.

Stevenson will be based in Los Angeles and report to Lisa Travatello, chair of the firm’s global brand and consumer marketing practice and the firm’s creative director.

Most recently, Stevenson was a senior vice president and global co-chair of FH Entertainment at Fleishman-Hillard, where she led the Los Angeles consumer marketing team and oversaw North America communications for Tourism Australia.

Stevenson also managed strategic planning and budgeting for clients including Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resorts, Fantastic Sams Hair Salons, Film Detroit, Amgen Foundation and others.

Prior to joining Fleishman-Hillard, she was a senior account executive at The Lippin Group, an entertainment marketing and communications firm.
