HONG KONG—International technology public relations specialist The Hoffman Agency has promoted Shingo Nomura to vice president of North Asia, Dong Chen to general manager of China and Mayda Jutahkiti to general manager of the Singapore office.
As the general manager of the firm’s Japanese operations, Nomura has helped Hoffman pick up clients such as Google, Sony and Symantec. In his new role, he will be involved in regional management and decision-making while providing critical support to the Japan team.
Chen was previously general manager of the Shanghai and recently added oversight for the firm’s Beijing operations. Now as general manager of HA China, he will head and drive the growth of both the Beijing and Shanghai offices.
Jutahkiti has been with HA Singapore since 2004 and was appointed deputy general manager in July 2009, responsible for managing and growing the office. Recent client wins include Jabra, Cisco and Singex.
