LONDON—The Holmes Group has extended the deadline for entries to the EMEA region SABRE Awards competition until February 26, 2010.

 Says Paul Holmes, editor of The Holmes Report and chairman of the SABRE judges: “We have received an unprecedented number of requests for extra time to submit for this year’s competition. I’m not sure whether that’s because of the economy or because of the increased role awards entries/success will play in the Agency Report Card/Agency of the Year process this year, but we have granted several companies an extra couple of weeks.

“In the interests of fairness, we want to extend the deadline for everyone.”
